Marvin Anderson25 days agoI had a water leak in my basement caused by a faulty water pressure regulator and found Rema with Remedy Plumbing through Angi/HomeAdvisor. He was one of the first plumbers to respond to my request. Once Rema realized I had a significant water leak and had been forced to shut off the water to my home, he went above and beyond. He left the plumbing job he was working on and came directly to my home to address the problem. After arriving, he quickly assessed the issue, went to purchase the necessary parts, returned promptly, and completed the repair. I’m very satisfied with Rema’s service. His quick response, professionalism, and willingness to make my urgent situation a priority were greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Rema and Remedy Plumbing to anyone looking for a responsive and dependable plumber.Posted on Google
D. Walters II26 days agoI recently hired Remedy Plumbing & Drain Cleaning (1st time) to install a new garbage disposal, and I could not be happier with the experience. The plumber arrived on time and completed the installation quickly and efficiently. What really blew me away was that he noticed my dishwasher was clogged and went out of his way to fix that as well, completely separate from the job he was hired for. Exceptional service, highly professional, and deeply honest. I will definitely be using them again and highly recommend their services.Posted on Google

(Columbia, MD) Garbage disposal failed me, gave Remedy a call that afternoon. The tech (Rema) said he would try to be there that evening; he did call, apologizing that he would not be there on time and asked if could come first thing in the morning. He was in fact here first things, as promised. Very friendly and efficient; I had already researched the cost of the replacement, and while no one wants to have an unexpected appliance repair, I did not have to sacrifice a child or limb to have the work done. (huge smile) Rema made sure I had his information and told me to call if anything happens with the unit. Definitely would recommend - reasonable price; quick; and friendly.Posted on Angie's List

The other half of the sink was not leaking but its piping was apparently bad, upward incline after the trap. They showed up at the beginning of the 9-10am time window, quickly looked at the problem, and then were able to get the parts from Home Depot and do the replacement immediately. They tested both sinks for leaks and tested the disposal (wired wall switch). Dishwasher tube was connected to disposal but not tested (would have required running the dishwasher for a full cycle). Overall they were professional and courteous. Answered questions about pricing and why the extra piping work was needed. No significant mess left behind. Time taken ~2 hours total. Cost detail as follows: Replaced 1/2 hp garbage disposal (Insinkerator Badger 500) - $479 Replaced Two traps for dual sink drain - $200 Total - $679 The price is more than I had expected for this project as I had not anticipated the extra pipe work, but per google the sink trap replacement cost appears average. The Badger 500 is listed at $150 from Home Depot.Posted on Home AdvisorElydrith A1063 days agoInstall or Replace a Smaller Appliance they went above and beyond. very happy with the results!Posted on ThumbtackTania N.1093 days agoRema was punctual, knowledgeable and diligent. They also cleared the debris and I'm really satisfied with the result. They're a hard working honest father and son team and I definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs or projects.Posted on YelpJoe F.2675 days agoHe was able to come the same day I called and was available after work hours for no extra charge. He was by far the lowest quote I received. He arrived within his one hour window and was very nice and polite and fixed my problem very quickly. Will be sure to use him again in the future.Posted on Yelp
